Swiss Violin Studio – Your violin lessons in a perfect location!

If you love music, dream of music and want to learn to play the most beautiful of all instruments – then you’ve come to the right place!

I have been teaching the violin for 15 years; I have been out and about with my ‘baby’ almost every day for 27 years, and I have been performing on stage for 24 years. I love passing on my love of music.

• For beginners: You’ll be guided on how to hold the violin correctly, how to make the bow your friend and – of course – you’ll learn to read music! Beginners:

• If you do not yet own a violin or have not yet hired one, you can hire a 4/4 violin (including bow and case) from me.

• For advanced students: we will tackle all difficulties together; we will learn to play more quickly, work on musicality and refine the tone. Advanced

• I am happy to organise concerts for my pupils, accompany and support them at competitions, and prepare them for grading tests or examinations.

• Professionals Professionals

• Mental training / Stage presence / Recital preparation

‘Kateryna is a dedicated, empathetic and inspiring teacher’

Fränzi Frick, lecturer in subject-specific teaching methodology at the ZHdK

“As a violin teacher, I am happy to teach and to learn. Like a small child, I delight in every first piece my pupils begin to play, every new fingering they learn, or every concert they perform. A teacher’s work is hard work, yes, but it brings great satisfaction, because that divine spark is always present...”
